A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday after her pickup truck crashed into a tree on Nugent Drive in Riverside, authorities at the scene said.
The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. and the victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, Southampton police said.
The Riverhead Fire Department and Flanders Northampton Volunteer Ambulance also responded to the scene to assist in the rescue efforts, police said.
No charges were made, police said. Additional details about the crash weren’t immediately available.
On Friday, a car rolled over in the same area. That driver suffered minor injuries following the single-vehicle crash, police said.
